    My 273 turned out to be a 318...what did I buy?

    Make sure you insulate the master and lines from the header. The heat will expand the brake fluid and cause a hard pedal or brake drag. Or worse, loss of brakes.

    The MH trans has a regular tail shaft. No brake drum. Both look the same except the MH has ribs on the housing.

    Transmission gurus, I have a Big block transmission from a motor home and one from a C body. I see on the MH one there are ribs on the tail shaft for strength, C body smooth. Are there any internal component strength difference between the two? I want to build one and sell the other with a 68...

    Help me choose a tire?

    I did the trial and error on ours with some smaller used tires I have. It has new 235/60r14 in the front and they don't rub. I like the wide foot print look. I bought new 225/70r14 and did rub on turns so now I'm stuck with a pair of those. 255/60r15 on the back. I will be changing to 275/60...

    Speedmaster small block heads sale must have gone good

    I ordered my small block heads on Black Friday and got them yesterday. A buddy did the same and got them yesterday too. They look really nice so far. Going to remove the valves and inspect soon.
