    73' 340/904 duster racestoration

As far as working over your 360 is concerned, yes the heads would be a good place to start - magnums are nice, but keep in mind that they limit your intake options should you be planning to do this with swapmeet/ebay parts, and the factory intake you show in your pictures certainly won't work...

    73' 340/904 duster racestoration

Nothing wrong with a mid/late 70s 360 - matter of fact with some basic head work and other mods it's probably cheaper/easier to build power from it than a 340 due to the lack of the "halo" effect that still surrounds 340s and their parts.

    Canadian '71 / '72 340 Swinger Specials

Used to be one or two of the '71 cars that came frome from Crestview Chrysler in Regina Sk living in Southey Sk. I believe they may have moved on to new owners now. http://www3.sympatico.ca/f.bevil/71Swinger340.html

Duster 1970-1972 and 1973+ Door Difference?

Interior top & bottom of the 70 - 72 doors were metal and part of the door structure - with the fibreboard/vinyl panel in between. The '73 up variety used a plastic top section and the board/vinyl part went right to the bottom of the door. (Much larger than the earlier version.) The interior...

    Tight Tubes

Well - one would assume they are a streetrod type of product, but they show as an A-body application on Hedman's website. A bit misleading IMO. The biggest mistake I made was spending the extra cake on the ceramic-coated version. The exhaust installer felt they could be made to fit better...

    Tight Tubes

They do not fit well as they dump directly over the steering linkage with only a couple inches clearance, causing some extreme bends in the collector, making the damn things so restrictive I should have just left the 318 manifolds on. On top of that the exhaust shop had to severly ding the pipe...

Torque converter/flexplate on cast crank 340

I know almost nothing about automatics, and I can't seem to find this information anywhere. Are all A904 Torque converters equipped with the 10" boltpattern? or do they vary? I have a cast-crank 340 that I am putting a stock A904 trans behind as a temporary measure. The engine is externally...

    damn neighbors

Try this: Sit on your front step, in plain view of all your neighbours, sharpening all the knives in your home. On the next evening, do it again, except be cleaning & polishing your gun. (Borrow a friend's rifle if you don't have any of your own.) Offer free parking on your lawn to some of...

    who are you hiding from?

I'm hiding from my wife.... I forgot valentines & now she's on the hunt for me.....#-o Seriously tho...I think it's cool to see where someone's from when they post on a message board. As far as for sale ads are concerned, I have all but given up trying to buy or sell stuff on the web...

    '73-'76 A-body disc brake orientation.

I understand that on cars with the early sway bars, (1972 - down) people swap the caliper orientation to allow the sway bar to fit.

Advice on radio delete plate for 72 Demon

Oh - and the heater controls do vary from year to year and style of dash. If you are not fussy about correctness, they are pretty easy to find, even these days.
