    Slant 6 Turbo 68Dart Project

To boost reference the power valve you need to literally disassemble it and reassemble it backwards with the spring moving it on the other side. Its kind of weird sounding and i dont have a pic of what i did, and then you also block off the lower vacuum port in the powervalve cavity. Then i...

    Slant 6 Turbo 68Dart Project

So just to show everyone i'm still around and still working on this, the engine is in, i painted the car literally 3 times and still dont like it, but its getting closer to running. Im waiting on someone to ship me a direct drive starter for this weird torque converter. And then had to...

    Slant 6 Turbo 68Dart Project

It started out as a single stage, but then i talked to car painter and he said since i was new to it, and that the only paint i had, to take the last coat and mix it 50/50 with clear and then shoot a couple clears over it. It adhered just fine, but he suggested it so that if i mess up i can...

    Slant 6 Turbo 68Dart Project

Woah, 2 months, sorry. BUT I have been busy with the car and engine. I'd say I've accomplished quite a bit. I have the engine completely assembled, and the car is in the middle of getting ready. I still have to cut and polish it. As for the engine, it's pretty much ready to drop when I get...

Has Anyone Installed Electric Door Locks?

The modules usually have a bunch of wires hanging off that you don't use, the one I had contained three other circuits you could use to do whatever. It matters if the unit that pops the trunk is a 2 lead unit, a positive trigger, or negative trigger, because the unit will usually only do a 2...

Has Anyone Installed Electric Door Locks?

I installed those actuators in my Dart. Theres no worry on room, the actuators are maybe 4" long and 1" diameter. They fit in a lot of spots in the doors. I recently got rid of mine and switched to a door popper system to remove the door handles, which those fit fine too, even being 2" in...

Slant 6 Turbo... Tight quarters. I could use some pointers

Maybe place the turbo up high and modify your engine box to allow it. I debated putting mine up high enough at one point that I could drain it into the valve cover. You could also find a way to put it on the other side and drain into the fuel pump block -off if you're going for an electric fuel...

    Slant 6 Turbo 68Dart Project

Sorry for the delayed response. Work has been fairly busy and I don't check on much online. BUT NOW I am ramping back up with the Dart. It's getting painted, new engine I am in the process of assembling, etc. But for your question Dantra, I had seen a manifold cut similarly, but with a...

    Slant 6 Turbo 68Dart Project

Well, the ARP's are not actually 220,000PSI as you said Bill. I don't doubt they'll still do their job though. This morning I got my adapter and hacked manifold back. The original custom header design was scrapped due to time constraints and the person welding them was very hard to keep...

    1972 Plymouth Valiant 4door

If you still have the 99 Durango, would you be willing to sell the glove box door, and is it Black? ALso, I have a 99 so could tell you whatever the bolt holes are but I don't know to what you're referring to.

    225 /6 and trans value?

I just paid $350 for a completely rebuilt 1975 Slant six from a Duster, with a rebuilt torqueflite, both never operated after the rebuild. But the previous owner thought of it simply as trash in the classic truck he bought.
