LOS ANGELES (AP) - Whitney Houston, who reigned as pop music's queen until her majestic voice and regal image were ravaged by drug use, erratic behavior and a tumultuous marriage to singer Bobby Brown, has died. She was 48.

Publicist Kristen Foster said Saturday that the singer had died, but the cause and the location of her death were unknown.
 
Sad to hear.One of the sweetest,sexiest I have ever heard.Such a sad thing.
 
doesn't surprise me. she got all drugged up after getting together with bobby brown.. what a waste of talent..
 
and why is that?? after she got hooked up with that scum bag she got hooked on drugs. so it doesn't surprise me at all... like i said its a big waste of talent.
 
I agree with Joe. Whitney once had a magnificent voice and a great career. She threw it all away with drugs and that POS she hung out with. This IS a big shame, but that IS the cause.
 
Sorry but I'm not going to bad mouth someone mother, daughter, and sister who just recently died. It's a very tragic situation for her family members do show just a little respect.

Shows my priorities. Read it on here first and then went to check if it was real.

Too bad she died and I don't always agree with abodyjoe but he is right. Something turned her life to the bad side and it is a shame as if she followed a different path things might have been so good for her and all that enjoyed her talents. Hard to feel too bad for people that make the wrong decisions in life. They chose their path.

I agree with Joe. These f cking scum bags should get a .22 cal. in the back of the head. It's all about money and the system. Most talent are victims and get sucked dry in all ways. Gawd bless the talent idustry...bastards! @ 48 she was just a kid.........feaking sad. :wack:

bad mouth her? all i said was it wasn't a surprise. its a damn shame i agree. but at the same time she did it to herself. just because she died doesn't change what she did to herself.. you know how many people would have killed to have half her talent. she was gifted and threw it and her life all away. its a shame but its not like you couldn't see it coming. don't like my opinion please put me on your ignore list.
