Hello everyone I figured I would ask you guys for some help.

My daughter has claimed a 76 Dodge B100 Van that I got due to it having a rebuilt engine and trans. I was going to scrap it but my 7 year old Daughter "Baby Snakes" lost her mind and declared that it is going to be the Rat Rod that she has wanted build since she was 4. So since I also love Rat Rods and have a soft heart for my kids I told her she can have it.

She has decided that we are going to make a diesel powered truck out of it. Now to the reason why I need the license plates and street signs. The van cab is filled with holes and the truck bed she picked out isn't any better, so she wants to fill the holes with......yup you guessed it license plates and street signs. We don't have to much to spend at the moment since my wife and I just got done paying for an attorney to get custody of my son from his mother.

I am hoping to cash in on some saved up karma and maybe get some people to donate what she needs to do her first car build. We can buy them from people and pay shipping if needed as long as it is as cheap as humanly possible.

We wont be able to get any work done on the van till tax time but I figure I better start gathering now.

Thank you in advance to anyone that can help out!

Now that's pretty creative of her. It ought to be cool.

This is how my little girl designed it out.

The butt of the van is going to be cut and welded back on just past the front seats. Then the truck bed I have lined up is a old late 50s Dodge Sweptline finned truck bed. The cab will be cut and lowered about 3 inches oh and it will be powered by a 4BT Cummins diesel motor.

She has a great imagination with a big love for Rat Rods and Mopar!

I have some 1980-1990'S MD tags to donate
PM me your address, I'll send them and eat the postage just to help someone young get in the game
I think I have a stop sign and a no parking sign sitting around but the stop sign is large if interested

However, nobody gets my I-69 sign..... It was a one-time-only shot....

I'll take them.

The truck bed we are grabbing later this year has no bottom left in it.

I figure if I get to many than we need then I will sell them in a yard sale and donate all of the funds to the Saint Judes Hospital for children with cancer, and I will put from all of us at forabodies.com in the card with the money order.

I can't wait to see it done! for the diesel go to the bone yard and find an old bread delivery truck they have a four cylinder cummins in them

Thank you for the tip on where to get the 4cylinder Cummins. I know a few yards that charge scrap price for anything auto related so I will check them first.

I cant wait to get it started. I still need to get my 11 year old sons truck when we get our taxes back next year. He wants to build a 50's Mopar truck or a 76 Dart Hang 10. I will be starting a build thread for each of their cars when we get started.

I've got a couple blue Michigan ones if you need them. Also have those vents for your Ramcharger and found a block off plate for the hole next to the cubbyhole on it too.

I thought the later model engines have a balance shaft in them and idle much smoother but I can't find info to confirm that. Sounds like a fun project! tmm

She has a cool idea here, but I don't think I could give up my Sweptside rear quarters though LOL

As far as street signs, get a hold of the works department where you live to see if they might have some old signs that would work on her project. Better still go see them and take your daughter with you so she can explain what she needs the signs for. Good luck and make sure you take LOTS of pics for us to see.
