Glad you are alive Chris. The things that can happen when we are alone. And I work alone 98% of the time
As im fighting to get an oil pan out of this f 150, hand in rear sump thinking about engine slipping off blocks. I kept telling myself it was stupid and i got no one to help.

Agree. I have had a few minor accident's of my own. Most notable. A few years ago, the leg of the lift swang inward as I stepped out of a truck. I fell backwards and doinked my head on the concrete wall adjacent. Woke up 5 mins later, thinking WTF Just happened ????

Made it to shop, 3rd cup of coffee now. Going to get driveshaft together and installed. Think its better to work on it an hour or two in the am than to try and do something later in the day. The sooner i get it mobile, the easier it will get. I would like to have it driveable by july 1, and see if i can round up enough locals to do a cruise around town.

102° today they predict  Made 92° yesterday and as soon as our prevailing NW winds off the beach picked up it dropped 15° in 2 hours :D. Must be a great deal of recently cultivated farm ground to the west, got mighty dusty with those 30 mph winds. Farmers need to get some product in the ground to keep that dust down .

Sounds like a fire waiting to happen

Then my brother calls. Two flat tires. Thats a couple hours out of my day that i can’t spare.

Morning coffee drinkers, another hot one today. Get out early to get some things done, then inside where it's cool.

Dam phone has been ringing all morning. You can tell cars are coming out and driving!
