I went up in the arch years ago-all the way to the top. The elevators are pretty small!!

me too. jamie is like lean over and you can see straight down. nope. lol
My wife would never in a million years go up there, she's terrified of heights. Made me turn around on the road into Oatman Arizona because of the drop off and damn near killed me when I took her through Glacier National Park the first time. She was laying across the seat with a map over her head screaming "get me off this f@#%&g road!"

lol.

once the trip os complete I'll feel that way. while the *** cheek is going numb and the back os killing my from this bench seat i think to myself that i should have brought our 2019 mustang rag top. lol

One of my fears with my car. I don't have problems with my seats, but when my wife says "maybe better seats?" when I ask what she would think would make the car better for a road trip, I read into that "I get sore and want out". So better seats are on the list so I don't have to do the trip by myself. :)

Same with my wife and I, age has not been kind to either of us.

Ahhh Oatman :D I bet that piece of 66 to the east of town is quite an eye opener for many folks  Keeping in mind that I lived on 66 more or less in my youth. To LA or Az to visit relations, 66 here we come  In my teens after exposure to highway construction I realized that they pretty much just pushed the creosote and cactus out of the way and paved 66 . Sand wash, no worries, just smooth it out and pave. Mountainside, just cut a notch in it and pave it. Steep grades, make some wide spots on the shoulders so they got room to pull over and cool off.

You may already be on the road out of St. Lois bur Ted Drewes Frozen Custard, 6726 Chippewa St, St. Louis, MO 63109 is a must. Been on old rt 66 since 1941
