Inside tire wear on the front.

Which could be caused from simple poor alignment, ride height, or in my case shot ball joints.

How much would you pay for this 340?

That looks like the forged balancer in the pic still get the numbers

How much would you pay for this 340?

Get some numbers off the block and heads. Because it's blue, it could be a 72 or 3 with low compression, cast crank, small cam, and small valve heads. . Heck, it could be a 318 and without looking close, you wouldn't know. It's a core.

How much would you pay for this 340?

As crusty as that intake is, I’m guessing it may have been more years than six since that ran. Valve covers look like they are a newer addition since they don’t match the corrosion in the intake.

How much would you pay for this 340?

Hard to say, I know I like $500 as a price. I’d go there with tools, make sure it turns over a dozen times, pull the valve cover and take a good look with a flashlight. Maybe even pull the oil pan. Lots can happen after 6 years.

what I had to do is set the mounts/biscuits on/in the kmember hole(s) then lower the eng the rest of the way slightly until the ears were close to the mounts then raise the mounts slightly to meet the ears & bolt them up to the ears making sure the lower stud(s) stayed in the kmember slot(s)...

Found a complete ‘69 340 near me, but looks pretty rough. You guys think it can be returned to its former glory? As far as I know it's not seized, seller says it ran when it was pulled 6 years ago… still working with him on price, wanted to hear what you guys thought… What would you pay for a...

Inside tire wear on the front.

What would cause the inside of the tire on front of a 69 Dodge to wear faster than the outside. Something must be wore out or the torsion bars may need adjusting,

    Torque converter bolts?..

I just went and checked my new "Boss Hog" Converter. The threads are 7/16x20, and the heads are .192 head thickness. ARP 5/16x24 bolt heads are the same thickness. I cleaned up the heads , and base of the Boss Hog bolts. They came with the converter. Dave

Short Shaft Slip Yoke 727's in Old Airport Tugs?

No, because what I am after was a very specialized application. Most transmission supply houses no longer stock hard parts for old 3-speed transmissions anymore. An odd extension housing and output shaft that hasn't been used for 45-years is not going to be around in a parts house. Their shelf...

Yeah. I don't know where you would find bearings for it. I have an assortment of slant six bearings. .001, .002, .010, .012, .020, .030, .040, have never seen .050 but that doesn't mean they are not available on special order.
