    Funny part is this rear end was 75 Maverick, and Rock nor O Reilly nor anyone has the correct hose. I tried all sort of models but thank you, the Bronco looks like it might work!! Like the ford guy says " Ford ain't easy but what is!" Answer: Nothing!!

    Thats for the info. It does not give the diameter but the length looks correct. The Bronco's hose is closer to right the the F100. Life should not be this hard!!

    I will add my 2 cents, I have built many of these old cars over the decades, most came with manual drum brakes, I have never had any trouble don't them in manual drum or disc and any trouble stopping. Like said, the right parts work fine. There is difference in bore of MC wheel cylinders...

    Yes. It involves cutting the swedged lugs to get the hub from the drum. Ya don't get beat it off.

    Called a distribution block. You have an issue with the hard line or even a hose, MC, or like he said maybe that block.

    The backing plate will dictate what it is as far as a kit and shoes. LIke said by other, bet it is out if a BB 65-70 B body, fit right in the A body.

    I admit I did not notice about the 11 inch drums either. Yep be sure to measure, I don't believe it would have come OEM on a 71 Duster. If 11 inch in fact, you just need a hardware kit for 11 inch and right shoes. Notice not all kits contains all the pieces of the puzzle!

    I just ordered all the stuff from Rock also. I always check prices between Rock, O Reilly etc. and compare. Just ordered shocks from Rock. Same part number was twice as high at O Reilly as with shipping with Rock. Not always the case.' Wonder how many billions the O Reilly family...

    ^^ Every car is a little different. That longline basically oe from the dist block back it will do thru the sub frame thru a small hole then go along inside of rocker, you will either see clips there that hold it one, or holes for the clips to go in there it goes back to rear wheel housing...

    Not sure IF inline tube has pre bet for 7 1/4. I have also bought new rear brake lines with the block made on the line.

I can't see how the drum as thin as it is the hub an not just be pressed of the drum with the studs there? I bet RRR is correct in a previus thread on this, he said take a 5/8 in hole saw and...

    I read somewhere in my search that RRR said you use a 5/8 inch hole saw to cut away that part of the drum around the lug. The drum is so thin ??? there, it could just be pressed of easy. Nothing is never easy!!!! It will go back as drum brake NO disc conversion for me!

    62 Dodge lancer. Is the drum somehow also swedged to the lugs like the hub?? or is it all just rusted together!! I do not need to replace the lugs, just separate the two and add a new drum.

    Some early A bodies seem to have had 10 in 7 1/4 rears and therefore 10 in front drums, assuming all was original oem stuff!!!!!

    That info is from Mopar Action article decades ago. Not everyone agrees with their thoughts. Lots of different opinions as to spindles and geometry.
