If you’re going to scrap them, maybe message Leanna first and see if she wants them. If anybody can make those new again, it would be her.

A nice air cleaner and original valve covers (redone by Leanna) and a couple cans of Chrysler Industrial Red. The inside is all new but you can't see that through the lipstick. :poke: :rofl:

Thanks Geof! I have some core fins in my stash (not for sale) and a homemade tool that reaches under the baffle to help with "stovepipe crush" but they're not easy to fix.

Before I knew of Leanna, I wanted two new OEM valve covers blasted and powder coated, a guy local to me gave an estimated of $80.

Just sent a big box to Leanna, 2 sets of valve covers, Air cleaner lid and a couple of big brackets. Shipped pirate ship for $31 from detriot. Worth it to have an experienced professional who supports our hobby take care of my stuff.

If I were in the US I would send to Leanna @CudaChick1968 for powdercoating. Perfect and lasts forever. If you're set on paint, either VHT or Duplicolor offer paint. Insulators are different, depending on the year.

I hear ya Leanna, I was somewhat tongue and cheek to this statement... "What if that was dropped at a bad angle off that 8' loading dock?". Ever seen an 8' high loading dock? That and with a 2 year old Granddaughter I "get" to watch Sesame Street damn near every day! LOL

...dinged me for the value of entire parts, NOT just the repair work. I challenged it and got denied. Repair work was $50?? I think, total value of boards...$200 I think. C**ksuckers... I agree with DB, I would love to ship my stuff down to Leanna, she could use the work and her work is impeccable.
