A friend and I went to Ford Carlisle 10-years ago and sold $18,000 worth of stuff between us. That was the best haul we ever had at a swap meet.
I sold a BBF Trick Titanium bellhousing, a Boss 429 block, some intakes. It added up fast and we were a lot lighter on the trip home. Any Carlisle...
the easiest way to drain coolant below your water pump holes in the block is with a bit of tissue. twist it into a straight length, poke one end into the coolant in the block and 'bend' it down in and out of the hole. you will see coolant 'wicking' down the tissue and then dripping from the end...
He has an early version of '65 builds. There are no body plugs that snap into the rectangular slots as far as I know. If his car has round holes across that straight section (as does mine), then yes there are body plugs for those holes.
I was so pissed off at what was done to the tree at Norwalk I gave my son my Sunday entry and headed for home. They had a long delay on the tree after both cars were staged that seemed like it took forever. Their racers complained about it but learned to live with it. Since I’ve raced the event...
Before Photobucket got greedy there was a fantastic posting area on Yellowbullet where guys posted tons of pictures of their porting work. I learned more looking and studying those pictures than I did anything. If you didn’t pay photobuckets high ransom they blurred out your pictures. One of...
Not sure if it works for you but I put mine just forward of front shock tower tied to frame stiffener down tube. I realize you don’t have that but you might be able to create a nice bracket and utilize the void there? Come up off frame rail? It makes it handy for plumbing as well.

and if he's only going 1/4 mile at...

Dunno about you guys, but a quart of oil loss in 1400 miles isn't all that bad. I burn more than that in my worn out slant, and I'm not driving a fog machine.

Today I continued with finishing the fiddly jobs -
The new accelerator pedal from the D100 Truck needed the existing throttle cable repositioned, due to this the outer cable sheath was about an inch too short, so I ordered a new one and got that alll solved and corrected.
Some wiring...
