SM Head Modifications on a budget

I’m going to tell you guys two things that will probably make you either doubt me or laugh. 1. I’ve never watched a video on porting a Mopar head. I’ve shared a lot of Darren Morgan’s stuff but never watched one. 2. I’ve probably watched 10 videos on porting LS heads. Not so much to see what...

    73 duster window rollers

Well this isn’t what I wanted to hear! I guess I’ll be just having to get really creative. The problem is when I bought the car it was like this. I don’t even have the broken rollers to compare to.

[WANTED] WTB: A body 9" drum front hubs

Looking for a body front hubs for 9" drum brakes. Still w/ drums or separated is fine. Working on a project involving possible machining of hubs so looking for an extra set in case it doesn't work out. I'm in TX near San Antonio if somebody happens to be close. Thanks

    What is this tool thread?

I doubt that it works as good as a few drops gas right in the middle of the weed.

    Tremec TKX conversion in A-body!

I used an off the shelf Hurst boot with chrome edging. I just rolled it a bit to match contour of tunnel. Cheap and easy plus looks good!

    Which Fram Oil Filter.

We ran all Fram products back in the late seventies and early eighties without any issues. I've never had one crush on me either. I haven't used them in years but when I did they were fine

Spark plugs covered in oil - how screwed am I?

Install new plugs, remove crush rings if they have them on heads with tubes. NGK3459/ZFR5N is a good plug for these. Any seals that are hard must be replaced. They are no longer seals but leakers. I hear tht a good source for info on these is @slantsixdan

    Which Fram Oil Filter.

No, Fram has always been junk. I've seen cut apart ones LONG before that, probably the first were mag articles in the early 70's, and first hand with a Wix rep cutting open several about 74-75

Spark plugs covered in oil - how screwed am I?

In addition to what has been said about the plug tubes, etc, make certain that something hasn't happened to "wash" the rings. Maybe the carb needle seat stuck and flooded it bad, maybe the FUEL PUMP is leaking gas into the pan. I would get good plugs in it, make sure it seems to be...
