Found my dads original 1971 duster!

Thanks! It’ll be fine for this year. I’m feeling better for the fact that it’s something I can do. Bodywork is pretty bad in certain light, which is a shame now that I have the paint 90% corrected. I’ll feel amazing once I get it running and driving! The wiring is very foreign to me I’m now...

The number is under the coolant decal about 8" from the driver side fender bolt. There is a second one in the rear under the trunk weatherstrip near the driver side hinge. Alan

    Some 360 magnum questions

Yes, well the check ball was moving freely, pretty new, not gummed up or anything. Other than checking to see that the PCV valve's ball is freely moving, how might I check that?

OK, so some progress today, thanks to @MidnightSwinger for the help with pass manifold. Got the car up on some cribbing, not a lot(4.5") and I may raise it some more. Over axle pipe(s) is 2 pieces. They're half *** mounted using the old/existing hangers. The 2 pipes join above the axle, so there...

I guess you could just put the one sensor in the single pipe where the two come together......but I believe how you have it will suffice.

Found my dads original 1971 duster!

Hey guys. A little update. The body is bad in certain light and the paint had crazy swirl marks from sandpaper everywhere. It also had flat spots. I went to a local body shop, watched some videos and bought professional 2 stage polish, pads, sander, discs and a Milwaukee polisher with a quick...

And sadly even the 1980's M-body Diplomats and Gran fury's are getting very hard to find nowadays. Years ago in one of the local salvage joints, about 2013/14'. I pulled my current A999 transmission off of a 89' Diplomat, the Motor was gone, what was left of the car was yellow, but I did see...

    My 340

Did the instructions say to weld the tip in? I’ve made up several hundred pushrods and shortened several hundred more and never ever did I put a weld on the end. That’s a perfect place to induce a failure.
