Can anyone decode my new Demon?

No, it was a legitimate junkyard. I think the owner said they had pictures of the place dating back to the '20s. Lot of Pontiacs in it.

383 appearing, 400 stroker with stealth heads question.

I actually read a post today, might have been on FBBO of a guy who built a 400 with 4.5" crank AND kept it internal pickup.

Automatic Shifter A Body or B Body or???

Above photo is in my '70 Fury. It's the original shifter. If there is a year/body change most likely it occurred for 1969 with the updated/new fuselage C-bodys.

Automatic Shifter A Body or B Body or???

    Could also be C-body

Can anyone decode my new Demon?

I bought the '70 Fury out of that yard. Scored PERFECT tail light lenses for my GT. Also grabbed an original A-body 8.75 out of the '71 Dart that was there. I was tempted to buy the Demon but it was pretty roached and with the fender tag turned to dust I lost interest.

    Titanium K-frame Bolts

For everyone's entertainment: OE steel bolt: 4.7oz x4 = 1lb 2.8oz Titanium bolt: 2.5oz x4 = 10oz With a weight savings of 8.8oz for a set that is nearly half the weight of the steel bolts. Further reduction can be performed if one shortens the bolts down to the bare...

    Chrysler Aluminum Manifold 4100337

That's a cool piece. Maybe a prototype for a M1 dual plane thermoquad intake that was abandoned.

    Titanium K-frame Bolts

It just got to be quicker then a certain '68 RR

    Titanium K-frame Bolts

I wish lol. My focus has mostly shifted to my '69 Cuda 383 notch at the moment since I have Jim Seilers stroker from his GTS. I may take my SFGT out and run it for fun at one of the races. Swapping out the gas tank this weekend hopefully to have it ready for Lake George.

    Titanium K-frame Bolts

An all iron BB wedge is a heavy b**** on the nose of an A-body. Any place to shave an ounce adds up!
  13. 67valiant 100

    Titanium K-frame Bolts

Yes that is correct. I personally am not selling them. You will need to reach out to Mark @ Whitebread Racing Enterprises if one wants to purchase a set.

    Titanium K-frame Bolts

Figured you'd like them ;) I gotta send Mark a few more nuts & bolts to do. Thinking idler arm & upper control arm bolts.

    Titanium K-frame Bolts

Had some light weight titanium K-frame bolts made up for my stock appearing Cuda & Demon drag cars I'm putting together. The weight difference by feel is pretty significant (I will scale them when I get a chance) & they look amazing. These have the proper taper shoulder for aligning the K-frame...

BB K-member Weight OEM vs DC

    Dedicated stock appearing drag car.
  18. 67valiant 100

BB K-member Weight OEM vs DC

To me there's alot of thick steel hanging on an OEM K-frame compared to the DC setup. But spool mounts are heavy too.. OEM: DC k-frame: As @Oldmanmopar said, it all adds up. As a '69 Cuda clone I've already got a Dart Lite aluminum hood for it, going to have a light rotating assembly...
  19. 67valiant 100

BB K-member Weight OEM vs DC

I have access to both. Just don't have the mounts for the OEM BB k-frame & the DC k-frame is currently in another roller. I'm fairly confident the DC setup will be lighter. Any weight off the nose of a BB stock appearing A-body is worth the effort.
  20. 67valiant 100

BB K-member Weight OEM vs DC

Cut weight off the nose while remaining relatively stockish looking.
  21. 67valiant 100

BB K-member Weight OEM vs DC

Does anyone have a weight comparison of an original BB A-body K-frame complete with original style engine mounts vs a DC K-frame with spool mounts?
  22. 67valiant 100

383 appearing, 400 stroker with stealth heads question.

Stealth heads pair with an M1 dual plain intake for the ultimate stock looking engine.

[WANTED] Big Block A-body Exhaust Manifolds

Have purchased a 1967 set of 383 manifolds thanks to rlcbit. Will still consider purchasing a '68-'69 set of 383 manifolds if the price is right. Thanks, Charles

[WANTED] Big Block A-body Exhaust Manifolds

That's what I was thinking... idk if it would be 100% FAST legal but they do let some things slide. Sure would help 500 cubes breath.

[WANTED] Big Block A-body Exhaust Manifolds
