Hi All, In another thread I found two Demons in a junkyard and was contemplating whether to buy the 1972 Citron Yella one (with a 318) or the Plum Crazy one (with a 225 slant 6). So I'd decided to buy the Plum Crazy one (someone else bought the Yella car). Below are photos of it. I was wondering if anyone can decode the car, based on the photos, because the data plate rusted away and there is no build sheet. I can decode it to a very basic car, maybe one of the kind that was not ordered by a buyer, but a car that was made and then dumped on a lot to sell fast and cheap. So based on what I can research online and from the photos, this is what I can break down: LL29C1B vin#, rear bumper guards (M83), engine 225 1V (E24), dual horns (J31), high impact paint (FC7), power steering (S77), Music Master base AM radio (R11), trans- auto 225 1V (D34).
The car also appears to have the nose of a 1972 Plymouth Duster (hood, bumper, front fenders, grille, etc.) and was repainted a long time ago. Someone also put on original equipment Mopar demon stickers on the rear fenders.
