Holley made a replacement carb for the BBD List # 7886 model 2280 it was for the 1975-76 , 318 cu.in. 250 CFM . Don't know if that will work for you or not but I got a nice one on the shelf

I got a carter 9635s , if you are interested I'll dig it out and check the condition . Its in a separate building and it snowed here this morning , will it ever quit .

Holley list 8007 is a 390 CFM model 4160 , Holley renew kit 3-720 , just rebuilt one nice carb

start with the accelerator pump setting .015 gap at WOT , cam setting correct ? then to the nozzle if you have a .025 try a .028 . take a vacuum reading adjust the power valve according to idle and launch readings

IF you can find one , Holley made a 6425 two bbl 600 CFM with annular boosters model 2300 looks just like a 4412 . Used for circle track racing mainly but a beast on the street, I got one setting on the shelf . If you could tame it , would make a real sleeper wake up .

I got a 6319s 1973 auto 340 cu.in. part # 3698328 if your in need.

Do you have the casting # for the top ?

Did you try changing the float ? they some times get heavy

Might be able to work out some kind of trade for your 500 CFM Holley ? If you can't get it to work for your set up.

got 2 BBDs 8291s or 6465s , also have some holley 2280s-- 8448 , 8999 , 9135 , 9209 , 9297-1 , 9428 and 9951. not in Canada but close

Did some research the 6710 and the 6210 have the same throttle bore Pri. 1 3/8" , Sec 2" so you may be right the difference is in the venturi Sec. 6710- 1 23/32 and the 6210 - 1 3/8 the Pri. venturi are the same 1 5/32 . PM me and we do some carb parts trading

I got [ 4 ] 12R 5395B baseplates which were a 6210 carb , 650 cfm . 6710 carb baseplate is a 12R-5768 , 800CFM I don't know if they work . But while looking found a 6211 carb which was 800 CFM baseplate 12R 4926 . with out comparing them I'am concerned it may not work for you

might have one I'll check in the shop tomorrow and let you know . Do you have the holley baseplate number?
