    Fuel cell / Exhaust issue

Contact http://hotrodcitygarage.com/tanks.html I called them a while back. Said they could shorten the tank and make it deeper to get the capacity back up....not exactly low buck but may cost less than getting a metal fuel cell and removing the tire well etc....

    Another intake recommendation ?

So I am guessing you are talking about the XFI system? If so it is a TPI system and will need a single plane.... Might want to hunt down a member....Turbofreak....he put bungs in a manifold where there were none. Believe he just epoxied them. Don't forget the throttle body is a good deal...

    Another intake recommendation ?

You mentioned EFI....TPI or TBI??? Have never seen many TPI systems with a dual plane. The only one I have ever seen available commercially for a B-block is from Indy....might want to just get an intake you can weld the bungs to later. Once the manifold just flows air the single vs dual plane...

    Red Kote.....

Searched and found this thread about sealing a tank. Anyone else ever use Red Kote? Going to reseal the tank on my bike some time soon. It was done with some sort of nickel coating years ago. Looks like it might not have been properly prepped as the coating is missing, and has been ever since it...

    Inertia vs Oil Pressure Switch

Inertia switch....to me it is a good idea. Have seen some folks say that they are to touchy....just go to you tube and search for ADD Ford Raptor...and watch some of the videos...Takes a lot more than a pot hole or the force of a launch to make it break the connection...

    fuel tank welding question

If you are concerned with the flaking you could just reseal it....don't remember the name of it but sure Google will....or look for someone to nickel plate the inside, like what was done on my chopper tank. Would work best if the tank never had anything in it...from my experience....

    electric or mechanical?

I like electric on a vehicle that sits, whether or not it is a performance build, for the simple fact that getting it running after it is sitting is just a matter of turning the key and waiting. If you do go electric I would suggest using an inertia switch similar to what Ford has used for a...

    .. water-methanol injection ?? ..

That is because without pressurizing the intake charge the temperature of it stays reasonable, once you pressurize it the temp goes up alot. I should plug my scanner into my truck and drive it to see what it does. You can build a home brewed water/meth injection kit for alot less than that...

    .. water-methanol injection ?? ..

There is an article in one of the recent Mopar magazines about using i ton a n/a motor. That being said it does work very well in a boosted build, lot of folks use it in place of the intercooler. It works well here, compressing air creates a on of heat, the water/meth will drop the ait, which in...

    Annoying fuel issues

Years ago I took a chunk of the filler pipe out and replaced it with clear fuel safe hose. Would fill it, slowly, with the trunk open. See fuel, stop the pump. Our Fairlane is a rear fill. Fill it up and leave some behind when pulling out of the station.....
