Seeing this thread has made me wonder if anyone here has ever used, successfully, a Predatator Carbanator?
If you decide to get one, make sure it has an idle circuit. Not all of them do. I knew a guy who had a Chevette mud bogger with a 454, tunnel ram and two Predators years ago. It was a sum 2 second mud bogger. His didn't have the idle circuits, but it ran like a sumbitch.
I had one about 15 years ago, it didn't work too bad. It was more of an experiment than anything. I only left it on for maybe a day, it did use quite a bit of gas. Oh, and it was on a mild cammed ([email protected]) 360, stock 340 intake with a spacer, and headers.
Used to be called a Kendig. A guy in central CA designed it.
