Well, the reason why we got new tires is because the car was sitting in someone's back yard for a while before we got it. The tires were cracked. We definitely will get the front end redone. The vibration might also be those big 'ol headers hitting part of the steering system

Well te oil in there is only 1 month old .. And we didn't get alignment or suspension done because my dad has work and I have school. This is a side project.

Why Change the oil? The tires are brand new. The front end and alignment need to be redone though, it has sloppy handling.

well I just went to go start it up after tightening the bolts on the headers and it worked fine. no ticking noise. Im not sure if it was a header leak, but it didn't make noise that time. Weird

How long will it take to replace lifters? how much expierence is necessary? How much of the engine has to be removed to access lifters? And Mopar Tim, are you sure the lifters would fit a hydraulic 67 318?

What's the deal with adding rislone? How long ? And will running an engine with a sticky lifter hurt it?

On the 1967 318, we have a sticky lifter. We hear it at idle, but it goes away when we rev it and the oil pressure goes up. It then returns at ilde. The engine did sit out of the car and didn't run for at least a year . We tried an oil additive, but that didn't work too well. Also, it is only...

Would that mess up the timing? and the spikey bolts and washers are for the timing piece that attaches to the balancer I believe. Im not certain, since my dad took it off

And by dent, I mean there is a bulge on 1 side of it, the side opposite of the side with the rings.

I'm sorry but I don't know what a press fit or those measurements mean. We didn't put the balancer on there

Also, one of the 6 outer bolts is different . There are 5 bolts with spiky washers and 1 longer bolt with a flat head screwdriver slot. Is this important?

Also, when we dry fit it and it's pushed on all the way, it wiggles left a bit . (Wiggles as in turns maybe 1/20th of an inch, moving in a way a steering wheel does). Is that a problem?

We did not install it, so I do not know how it was done. The engine was out of the car and has less than 50 miles on it since we had it . The crank looked great when we opened the oil pan. And the balancer has maybe ran 1 minute since it started getting weird.

Problem solved. There was no negative grounding wore on the ECU. I guess it did not come with the kit for some reason, and we just didn't know about it
