Give me an education about this "PIRATE SHIP" method that has been discussed here.

Ummmm, not that I recall. I don't believe they handle international shipments but that's the only downside I can think of.

Give me an education about this "PIRATE SHIP" method that has been discussed here.

I've only had a couple claims and neither were processed through pirateship. Those, one through FedEx and the other a total cluster-uck through International Priority Mail, were also both "ardously processed through email" including formal demand letters. Both resulted in successful full payments.

Give me an education about this "PIRATE SHIP" method that has been discussed here.

Real life feedback showing the Pirates saved Wayne a lot of booty!!! I'm kind of surprised no other customers have said how the experience itself varies from the dry, impersonal service we've all gotten way too used to when sending packages and even envelopes. I sign in and am greeted with...

Give me an education about this "PIRATE SHIP" method that has been discussed here.

I had no trouble linking the bank and PayPal debit cards to it, and can switch back and forth before purchasing the label.

    If Nobody Else Does....

Rob, get them off of kibble if you can. It's nothing but carbohydrates and fillers. There are some good YouTube veterinarians who explain it well.

Give me an education about this "PIRATE SHIP" method that has been discussed here.

NO!!! You can insure it for any amount you wish (I've gone up to $2200). You just need to specify how much insurance coverage you want and pay the nominal extra amount. UPS includes $100 in insurance with every shipment; last I knew, the USPS only includes $50 with Priority Mail. Look under...

    If Nobody Else Does....

I hope it's a smooth transition Rob. Sit him down and explain why he's safer inside. He'll get it. It was surprisingly easy for Speck and her brother The Stig, born in the shop March 21, 2015 and retired to the house last November simply because it cost too much keeping the heater on out there...

    Scams are heating up

Any time it crosses state lines it becomes a federal matter. Most jurisdictions also now have Internet Fraud divisions or task forces. Even little Greenfield (pop. 2198) has one. I used it a few years ago to stop a stalker on here. They referred me to the FBI who visited him at work at Auto Zone.

    POWDER COATING COST

It is. Getting fabulous results that last for decades isn't. I went to that guy's next suggested video on "proper prep." Seeing a dirty, unblasted piece of metal hanging up with tape on the threads 'ready to coat' was all I needed to see. You can teach anyone how to do anything. Teaching them...

    Scams are heating up

PayPal fees for international transactions are also higher than domestic ones. Currency conversions are also involved. You were right to be wary.

    Valve cover questions

You made me smile again this morning @toolmanmike! :thankyou: Commando valve covers are always a lot of work to restore. The tins are pretty tough old steel but nearly 60 years of prior owners usually weren't kind to them. Overtightening can blow out the bolt holes, wire harness tabs get...

    POWDER COATING COST

Thanks for the kind write up @toolmanmike! It's impossible to quote any job without good photos of the parts because no two are the same in terms of condition, cleanliness, color scheme, etc. Though other opinions may differ, I don't believe the guy who chucks his tranny pan in a box with...

Telling us is all fine and good but maybe tagging the company to let them know about a hazardous condition might be prudent.

Amen to that! It borders on a classic Bait & Switch!

    shipping a manifold

I don't know what they use and presume it's volume. I just like the prices to pass along to customers and the fact it's actually enjoyable to ship again.

    shipping a manifold

You're welcome! If it helps just one person it's always worth it. I was surprised just now to see I've used the fun pirates to ship 32 packages since Rich M. told me about them a few months ago. I couldn't find anything on my account with an easy breakdown to see total savings but will estimate...

Stop in for a cup of coffee

Thank you! I'm happy to help design your color scheme if you need it. I recommend just looking at your engine bay -- or envisioning how it's going to look someday -- and pick out the details you want viewers to notice. The red on the ignition parts, the black wrinkle air cleaner, the yellow...
