Decoded my fender tag tonight, I have paint code HT8, and it came back unknown at this time..... Can anyone tell what color this is???? The car is black now (very old paint job, many chips, scratches, etc.), but under the hood and trunk is looking like a root beer brown..... Any ideas?:help:

Yes, it does..... Every one of the mounting tabs where it mounts to the dash is broken off on mine.... The woodgrain or chrome doesn't have to be perfect, already have the woodgrain insert kit to replace my old stuff.....

Yep, just like hellion said...... there's a kit to use compressed air to hold the valve in place while changing the spring , or you can do what I did once, and put that cylinder's piston at the bottom of the compression stroke, get a long rag that will fit in the spark plug hole, leaving the end...
