The upper ball joint is the only difference,but the 73-6 abody also used thicker tie rods 11/16 if I remember right but the others should just pop in the ball joint. I like the 73-6 K frames better,the engine mounts are a better design & the parts are cheaper than earlier years.

Yes,you will need a manual steer pitman arm for that year k frame. It is different. I have swapped many boxes through the years & have never ran across any differences.

The pitman & idler arms are Year of k frame exclusive. 67 1 year only,68-72 (same) 73-6 (same)

All 67-76 a body k frames interchange. 67 was 1 year only idler & pitman arms. 68-72 was the same k frame & 73-6 is the same
