I have a pedal holder i made for doing alignments, works good for holding pedal. Had to troll through 3,000 ish photos to find it. 3/8” rod with a slightly larger hole in flat bar. Push rod to depress pedal, slide bar up to seat and it holds pedal down. Lots of walking. No waiting for helper.

So, s10 2.2 develops a rattle at idle when hot. Its the common timing chain tensioner. My local supplier doesent stock the chain kit or gaskets. Rock otto is 1/2 the money so thats what my plan is next. And a new muffler.

I think he got a painless kit. I have a couple kits here i found on Amazon. There are decent ones and crap. Crap is like a dash harness, gooder ones are generous with the wire, from headlight to taillight.

Yup. Hate the pedal arrangement. For some reason the cruise works now. Sluggish to engage. Thinking the servo is sticky from lack of use. Did some driving around, lots of traffic here this weekend. Fair, fireworks parade and car show. Also live entertainment.

Did a little more work on the truck. Oil change, grease job. Window trim and rearview mirror. It needs to be lower as rear window is low, so not much distance behind truck. Moved gas pedal. Its worse than it was before i modified it. So, revisiting that. And litte to no resistance on pedal. Not...

Thes stupid turbine wheels. With the 1” spacers which i hate are causing issues. Drilled to clear the studs, but they arent running concentrically. Have to fiddle to get them right. I may see the machinist, get proper holes drilled.
