Really @weedburner is the only one you absolutely need to listen to on this subject. As he's the one who masterminded the whole idea, built it, developed it, the whole nine yards.. And one nice helpful person.... As far as a body install, I did post a link there and it does have quite a few...

Found it... About post #71 it starts getting into pictures... Tame my 4-speed Stroker.... You'll have to excuse yellow rose and his petty bickering. As at that time, he hadn't heard of this product. So just like most people are afraid of what they don't know.... Maybe he's still using a rag...

I blew the caps off the 8 3/4... built a d60 and done...

On my duster I used the factory looking power master one wire... no problems... On my power wagon I used a chevy one wire and made a longer lower bracket...

To the op.. I have always bought a second hood or part to do modifications to so if all goes wrong.... In this case I'd buy a fiberglass hood to pin on and put scoop on and tall air cleaner... Attach the 4 pins with bolts (don't weld on..). Paint both hoods and you have the best of both...

I like the fender skirts... :thumbsup: And of course the headers cut off and bolted to the hood...

Good time for the v8 swap...

It does have that slow motion train crash effect...

I find myself in near the exact same situation...

On their website, they offer a factory reconditioned street damon, and when they're not available, you can be put on a list and I did that, and it took two weeks to get the call and I got mine for like two hundred and twenty dollars or something brand new or reconditioned...

That's what I usually put a friend on (transmission oil..) at break in and my wife starts and gives a constant reading on the gauges... Stuff happens... the ugly part of hot rodin...

Those pumps seem hard to mess up... How many of these 727's have you rebuilt?.. Maybe something wrong in the valve body?.. I put a check ball in the wrong place and completely lost reverse and everything else was perfect... tossed out the little check ball and all was well...

How about driving it.. does it cool off once you get it in the wind?...

The pump doesn't engage you in park...

I assume you put a court and the torque converter and poured about a gallon in the transmission. And started it in neutral and continued filling from there?..

Were is the timing?... Have you verified the temp gun?...

Who rebuilt it??... Sound like low fluid..
