You should have no trouble getting into the 11's with that combo. Some real good advise you have gotten here. My son runs 3.91's with 26 x 9.5 Hoosier QTP's in his 400 Dart and I run 4.30's with a 29 x 11.5 Hoosier QTP with my 440 in my 63. You should be fine with 28" tires and 4.11's...

Thanks Brian as I just saw this. There is a chance I may make the April 19th race at Cecil. Not positive as my son who is in the Navy may be in town and if he is that may change my plans. But I would love to run my 63 at that event. Ron

Dont know if this pic helps but this is my sons 72 Dart launching. This car is all stock suspension other then the 002 & 003 SS springs. It has all the original 318 suspension up front (but we rebuilt it) and the springs are in the stock location in the back. It is a .030 over 400 street car...

No Dave I just bought the Detroit Locker carrier. Then I took mine apart and set it up with the same 4.30's and the Detroit Locker. I should not have much trouble hooking good now ! Ron

Hey Dave how ya been ? I actually needed a carrier as I damaged mine so since I needed a complete carrier I just decided to go with the Locker as I hear good things about them. And I hope to find out soon. Ron

I hurt my rear last year on the first pass my last time to the track. The car spun but still ran an 11.52 @ 116 but when I turned on the return road I heard it banging. I found a broken axle gear tooth when I took it apart and the posi unit was also shot. So I just installed a Detroit Locker...

We use a mild Eddy headed 400 in my sons Dart. Its a street car and we drive our cars to the track. His has run 11.40's @ 117 so far. Ron

I know Mike loves them and hooks great on them as he told me that before I ran them. And now my son and I both run the Hoosier QTP tires and we love them. I drive to the track on them and then drop them from 30 psi to 15 and go racing. They hook so good that my mid 11 3700 lb 63 gets air...

That is just a super cool 68 Cuda. Looks like he is going for the 68 Hemi Cuda SuperStock look and I like it ! Ron

The C5 Vette is lucky to be a mid to low 13 car and if you tune your combo right he wont eat you alive at all. Your car has 12 second ability if you tune it right but get it to the track and get some real track #'s. At 112 I can run 11's so that G-tech is a waste of time in my book. Good...
