    Cam duration question

My Dart restoration is coming along great. Getting ready to do some assembly finally. Now I bought this car way back in 2003. We are going through the 440. We are pulling the cam and going to install new cam and lifters. The cam coming out is the B/RB 361-440, 284/484 Hyd Flat Tappet .484" /...

Are there any experienced beer drinkers here?

When i was a drinker i preferred it just chilled. Ice cold it had no taste, and usually was how people who don't actually like beer would drink it.

#48 Alex Bowman wins his first Pole of the season at Bristol, but nobody picked him to be the quickest qualifier so no Pole Pick bonus award again this week.

63 Dodge Dart, now let me see;)

it only costs you the cutting discs to cut less first, then cut more if you need to. oh, and anyone wondering what the 'shift lever' is it's an old alternator bracket i used for setting up the shift rod lengths (i didn't have the right ones, lol). neil.

    Slow build 71 Scamp 440

Ok Rockers are on and shimmed the best I could with the provided shims. I think a better shim assortment would net a better alignment. All rollers are on the valve but some are not centred perfect. The Mancini shims with the kit are all the same size. Each bank can take 1 shim but anymore you...

Watch the video I posted when you get a chance. He goes into details. It was a large displacement small block Mopar in a Ritter block with Brett Miller cylinder heads based on Edelbrock Victor castings. Pretty kick *** combo.

oil pan for 440 in a 1968 Dart

I am rebuilding a 1969 440 that was put into this 1968 Dart. The oil pan that was in the car shows a lot of damage from hitting on the K frame. I am not sure this is the original 383 K frame as the drivers side motor mount has been relocated. I am trying to find a new oil pan and pickup that...

    Milling an intake manifold.

Just went through this exact scenario. Intake sat way too high because heads and block have been cut multiple times. My intake fit perfectly with no gaskets and my gaskets are .031” so I had .040” cut off the flanges and now it fits perfectly. I believe your thinking of taking .060” off is correct.

    74 Duster/ 5.7 swap questions

It's tight, but, I still retained the column shift. Doesn't matter in your case, as you stated. You will really like the swap. People say it's not for the faint of heart. Reality is, you do NOT have to spend mega bucks to do a gen 3 swap. Don't be afraid to ask questions here. Lots of gen 3...

    Shop safety

Looked at the chuck today. The threads aren't stripped, clean as if new, and I can set the thread in section right into the female portion. I guess years of 100 PSI expanded the female shell... in the big bin she goes.
