Baxter oil adapter on a pentastar v6

The engineers of that engine put a canister filter on it by design. I don't understand how you think you can improve on it for one thing. Secondly, I've never seen a filter with any sort of anti drain back valve that was 100% leak proof, especially when the filter installs upside down. Like on a...

Ready to pull the trigger on rear sway bar set up 70 Dart, 8 3|4 axle....

I have installed both Hellwig and Hotchkis rear sway bars. The install is a little different, the Hotchkis requires welding on the hangers while the Hellwig can be a "bolt on" operation. The Hotchkis install is probably a bit cleaner though. Addco has very cheap hardware.

    Hard Starting Hot Big Block

So the tester I have is the old school resistant type tester (where you hold a switch on the bottom for 10 seconds and watch the gauge to see where it falls). I also used a larger group size battery for testing from my 04 Ram SRT10 and saw no difference. I don't have an ammeter, I have a volt...

    Any Jeep technicians out there?

Ok, thanks I will try this, what I did was disconnect the positive battery cable, on the Jeep all you need to do is under a 10mm nut and yhe cable, not the terminal pops right off, I'm not sure how that is different from disconnecting the negative sensor but I'll give it a try this morning...

    ~450hp from stock stroke 340?

You can build hp with various ratios of basically duration to head flow, look at LS engines they build 450 hp with 218° cams, say OP hits his goal with his 230° cam as long he has decent gears and stall to go along with it shouldn't be fine.

    [WANTED] 1972 Duster Moulding

These are the ones I have. No bends, kinks, ding, nicks etc. Not mint but very nice & will look great with a good polishing. Again, I took them off a 74 Duster I had but should be the same as yours.

FelPro 70522 Oil filter plate gasket size….

Thanks. I’m in Canada, so a $3.00 gasket will cost $20 shipping. I was asking if anyone else got an oversized one to see if mine was a fluke, or are they wide-spread incorrect.

Changing crankshaft bearings with the engine in the car.

If you're hearing rattling down low it's more likely rod bearings than mains, so if you're in there change both. It can be done in car and it's fun!.....well, minus the fun part. Regardless, 20W-50 should improve the issues without turning a wrench :)

Putting up a shop in CA - fire department being a pain

My son is outside Grass Valley. They were not allowed to put in a paved driveway (probably around 150'). The gravel was just laid on the dirt. It is unlikely the little single lane bridge over the creek to get to their place will support 70k lbs. Weird rules all over...Also, it would be very...
