    Silver Sport reproduces the correct factory appearing A Body pedals in house. So not sure why they are telling you they don't have them? All the Silver Sport kits come with hydraulic clutch which requires less leg effort then mechanical clutch linkage

    Thats what I was thinking pressurize crank case. A 3/8 hose, one end to your ear other move around will detect very small air leaks. Use pressure regulator to slowly add the air pressure.

    I would try to move engine to try to gain clearance first. Loosen motor mounts, raise engine, see if it can be nudged over or rotated. Shims between motor mounts and K frame might help. Make sure motor mounts in good shape.

    If they were optional on the early '68 cars I would bet the threaded nut in the roof is there on the early '68 cars.

    The clips by the A pillar are part of the sun visors. At the rear there is a threaded hole in roof but not sure early cars had those.

    Make sure all the air hose fittings are high flow high volume. Otherwise paint gun won't be able to properly atomize the paint causi g orange peel and roughness.
