You could do a whole @HemiDenny front suspension, it converts to coilovers and a rack-and-pinion setup. That’s a “bolt in” solution. Or you could keep the manual box and add a Toyota electric power assist under the dash in line with the column. But that takes some fabrication and messing with.

Thats an interesting proposal. I would be putting in a new steering column then anyway,I should research that route. Have you seen it done before? I'm not wanting to go to coilovers if it can be avoided.

HDK front suspension with rack and pinion power steering, wilwoods up front and disc brakes in the back, not sure what brand. It has a Dana with 373? I will double check, 727, no rally dash.

Pretty sure you can get other sizes, theyre really chill and helpful. a huge deciding factor for me why I went with them was they have a badass GM type II power steering setup, exactly what I needed for my power rack and pinion. And its all excellent quality.

@Dan the man Now, you've been around here long enough you have surely seen these rack and pinion/coilover threads pop-up. They can stay at the top of the hopper for days and come back t life after a long time gone. Just search "coilover", "rack and pinion", blah, blah, blah. I get that newbies...

The problem we have encountered is in fact getting the rack high enough to minimise the bump steer. You may have to jack the engine or massage the sump. The factory setup is not free of bump steer by the way. The rack we use is from our Holden Commodore range of cars. Our local GM product...
