Did a little research and see that they are a good deal. And..... I can carry that App with me to Viet Nam in November....Watching the...

Well my son is bottom bulbing it this weekend

Well the redlight bug hit Matt today on his 3x9 entry so it was out. He won 1st round in his 3x97 entry and was waiting to run 2nd round and the rain moved in again. Another split so 200.00 for winning 1st round. Doesn’t look good at all tomorrow. Check out this package from a local keystone racer.

    Idle Transfer Slot on secondaries?

They must be stock as I haven’t touched them. Are they not fixed brass inserts? This is my first Holley.

    Cam Phasing

I ran this camshaft and its solid lifters in another motor. Block, crank , acouple of the rods and pistons were junk. I should have been clearer. Came out of a friends circle track motor that he blew and was tired of it taking up space, he told me what was in it but never minded to tear it...

    Hurricane Helene

Seeing the footage in Chimney Rock / Lake Lure is heartbreaking. My wife and I vacationed in Asheville several years ago and drove that road. The damage is devastating.

More good news for the ford guys

If I gave a crap I’d buy a set, unscrew Trick Flows porting and put a 2.08 valve in them. I just don’t care because it’s still based on passenger car geometry.

    Super Victor port matching

I actually am using a Victor with my Bloomer heads. I had it ported before use. It isn’t optimal, just flat not enough meat at the top. I too used superformance gaskets, and left the center dividers alone, as I was happy with them, did no trimming. Everything has held up well, no leaks, happy...

The correct setting for the adjustment, per Chrysler is 9/32 protrusion, plus .050 minus .000. Now I need to go look it up because I’m not sure I have the plus and minus correct. If you set it at 9/32 you can’t go wrong.

Got nissan wheel bearing replaced. Found a loose tie rod end. Turns out it needed 2 wheel bearings. Buddy has same buggy, horrible creaking noise, seems like its the struts. And during wheel rotation one stud spun. Had to drill it. Then hunted for a replacement stud- DUH! I had 6 in the hub i...

    Idle Transfer Slot on secondaries?

The reason I am asking is that I am finding that the idle mixtures are having a negligible effect with vacuum/idle. I assumed the transition slots were opened too far. It’s not see pic. Also Idle needs to be 1100RPM in Park and drops to 850RPM in gear. I don’t want to start drilling if this...

    Idle Transfer Slot on secondaries?

In most cases the aftermarket transfer slots are too big and need TSR to get them right or as some one I know who knows more about this stuff said he just rips them off and puts the OEM holley base plates back on.

Putting up a shop in CA - fire department being a pain

Speaking of zoning. How about this one for taking money out of our pockets! I'm putting a wooden 10 x 12 garden shed in the backyard of the house we recently bought when we moved to Florida. The county requires a "permit exemption" that costs $65. I kid you not!! Crooks!

It’s a custom carb so it has aftermarket. I only pointed this out so that readers know that not all Holley looking carbs follow this procedure.

    Stance

Jacked up rear ends were the result of big tires and not having the capability to narrow the rear end . It throws your weight distribution and steering angles off . My dart handles nice , drives straight and stable as well as launches really well even with 500+ hp and torque. Interesting thing...
