Great weather. Full swap meet area on Saturday. Pit side was full. Could of used more show cars. All in all, nice show.

The pictures are from a 6.4 / 8hp70 install in a 69 Dart. The mount was made specifically to do the least amount of sheet metal mods as possible but still fit, function, and install with relative ease.

Didn't make sense but that is what MSDs old instructions said to do....when I verified online I discovered they changed their instructions. So I now run a .45 gap.

I would modify the (bottom) sides of the gas tank similar to what was done for wheelie bar clearance on the California Flash OEM fuel tank. Likely lost 1to1.5 gal capacity . If extra capacity is needed, add an incognito separate spare tire well fuel tank plumbed thru existing holes in the spare...

A tale of two different MSD6 spark plug gap charts The spark plug gap chart on the left is 4-5 years old and it would make sense the current on-line chart (on the right) would be correct. You can about weld with the spark the MSD6 throws out and can handle the longer spark plug gap.

HUH???? Just pulled up the instructions on line and it says to go the opposite way. For my engines compression, around 11.25 I should be at .40-.50. I will re-check the instructions I have when I get to the shop,...... maybe get my eyes checked. page 3 https://documents.holley.com/6425.pdf

per the MSD6 install instructions for the compression I have.....gap should be between .30 and .35 I'll see if it likes it....or not.

Plug check after this and last years driving including the 180 mile round trip to Columbus this last weekend. All 8 look identical. While out for the check and since the added MSD-6, I closed the gap from .35 to .33.
