    440 Pushrod measurements

I believe those are Harlan Sharp rockers without needle bearings. That’s a good rocker. IIRC the oil hole is at the bottom of the threads or just below it so it’s in the Chrysler location and that’s what you want. FYI Crane many years ago made rockers with the oil hole lower than where...

34 total seems high for a Magnum . Not that that has anything to do with your issue .

What would you build if limited to 372ci - with boost as an option

If someone would build a short deck B block you could do what you want and smoke beeotches with it. You and I would probably be the only ones buying it though lol

What would you build if limited to 372ci - with boost as an option

Total weight will likely be in the 5K range, but Bonneville, weight is your friend, high torque is not. There is always a traction issue regardless of speed.

Thrust issues with AFR gauge and Brawler carb

What is the engine build ? Super efficient chambers ? Possible too big of power valve restrictors ? Just thinking out loud here.

Thrust issues with AFR gauge and Brawler carb

Ok, so what size are the emulsion holes? If you are just watching an AFR gauge and not data logging you won’t see the negative affects of too many emulsion holes open or too big of holes or both. You will never see it on a gauge because the resolution won’t show it but what you end up with is...

All i can say is I hope we're far enough inland. I don't have any contacts for our new place to check in with. Demonx2 lives close by and said that not bad in our area. That's all I've heard. Ya, another one is brewing in the gulf along he same path.

Thrust issues with AFR gauge and Brawler carb

As Bewy pointed out you are a range cold on plug. Are the numbers you are giving numbers YOU measured or are they from the web? You can NOT trust those numbers and no one can give you any advice without knowing exactly how the carb is tuned right now. Im assuming you have no brass in the...

What would you build if limited to 372ci - with boost as an option

If you go with a small block a great option would be picking up on a used W9/R3 motor. They are at 358 cubies and are lower compression and have sturdy blocks. I've seen them from about 12k -15k.
