    Help finding clearance!!!!

If I'm not mistaken, you'll have to swap the slant 6 pressure hose for a V8 one, I believe they are different. What pump do you have?

    63 DART V8 WIRING

Going from a slant 6 to a small block, I just rewrap the harness to put the connectors in the correct area. The coil and oil sender wires are actually longer on a slant 6 harness than a V8. The rest of them are about the same. Same connectors and color code too.

I picked up this, after selling my 66 Satellite, to a guy that drove from Texas to Tampa to get it.....4 k , 12 year old paint. But I did have a built 340, 727 and 4:10 Richmond gear set I kept and put I this. I definitely have some money and time in it, 98% rust free. My Mopar Brother Big...

    Where do I look now

this. this right here. if i had 20~25K to spend i'd go find me either an abandoned project or a nice runner in the 10~12K range and then build it exactly how i wanted it. i'd be dollars to donuts you could find a really nice slant car in the 15ish range and then just drop in a V8 i had a...

The adjustment box I had issues with and the threads are worn. I am including it anyways but it does slip off! Buy this 273?

It's funny how when a good opportunity like this is knocking, I can't decide what to do. My car is a solid cruiser with a mild super slant 6, but I'm infatuated with the sound of a good V8.:(.......

Stop in for a cup of coffee

The driver side mount is identical on v8 and slant k frames, the difference is the passenger side. The slant passenger mount is lower and flatter. If you can weld, you really can modify your existing frame to bolt up to factory v8 mounts a lot easier than that thread there.

[WANTED] slant 6 to V8 trans adapter

Question1) , would that slant to 727 adapter also allow one to bolt a slant to a Mopar small block blow proof bell housing? That would allow one to use a 130 tooth flywheel behind the slant and that would allow the use of a bunch of durable clutches and pressure plates. Quick Time RM-6072...

    Tons of 1967-69 Dart parts

I have a friend here in Coos Bay OR that has a ton of 67-69 Dodge Dart and other Mopar parts that she wants to sell in a single LOT. This includes new and used parts of that era. There are V8 and slant six engine blocks, rebuilt J heads, transmissions, intake and exhaust manifolds, carburetors...

    Drive shaft

Post 4 is correct. If you use a V8 904 transmission, you can use the same drive shaft. As stated, the slant 6 transmission will not work on the 318. You will need to find a V8 904 in order to retain the same drive shaft.

    Very impressed with gas mileage

Something wrong there! Best mileage V8 I had was a ‘79-360/904/2.76 in a Dodge Magnum sporting 235/60/15’s on all 4 corners. I gave the engine dual exhaust off of the exhaust manifolds @ 2-1/4 w/an H pipe, a factory 4bbl w/a 600 AFB and a vacuum advance distributor from the junk yard off a...

    ‘64 Valiant Production Numbers

From issue 59 of the Slant Six News (1996), total 1964 Valiant production including Barracudas was 251,028. Signet hardtop production was 37,736. Exact V8 and/or 4-speed production figures seem not to exist (at least according to this source), but 6.7% of all 64 Valiants (including...

    Slant 6 K-Frame = LOTS of Clearance

I wonder with the v8 mounts would I have to move the holes 3/8 forward to help with the AC.

    Bent Frame, bent k member

It would make the most sense to go with a 73 and up V8 K-member, spindle, disc brakes, sway bar, lower and upper control arms. You will get better braking and the calipers will be positioned correctly. If you can’t afford to change to disc brakes just change to the 73 K-frame and you can upgrade...
