    Nmca and Nmra are finished.

Just for example there will be 1200-1400 bracket races at Norwalk this week from starting today through October 13th. Every weekend there are 3-4 events going on at any given track not counting regular local 1000.00 Payout races. It may be bad in your area but not for us in the eastern states.

    What hose is this?

Hot air hose or heat riser hose. It ducts warm air to the air cleaner for quicker warm ups. THere is also a temperature/vacuum actuated trap door in your air cleaner snout that appears not to have a vacuum hose attached, so that whole system is essentially useless anyway.

Hello, anyone know a good place to purchase an original radiator or know of a replacement that would work? It's a 225 slant six with push button transmission.

    Annoying ticking sound while driving.

Hey all, I wasn't sure if I should put this in the Engine forum because I'm not quite sure if it is the engine making this sound (Or trans). It is a 1971 Demon with a 340 and 4 speed (Non Numbers engine and trans). I don't know a whole lot about the engine and trans build other than they were...

    What Engine Is This?

It could've been manufactured in 1966 for the 1967 models. My dad bought a new 1967 Dodge D100 pick up and it had a 318 with a pos stromburg carburetor.

    What hose is this?

The car is still very much driveable. You should be able to get the hose from a auto parts store..

    Rod Bolts

I suspect the answer most will respond with is that they have to be resized. I have replaced rod bolts without resizing the big end. This motor has gone 7500 rpm, and is still running today. I would do it again.

Low Compression/High Boost and Pump Gas

I built a sacrificial lamb for testing of the roots engine for my 70 Challenger. Built it out of what I had laying around out of old 318. Dipped the block, new cam bearings / soft plugs. Had the crank turned, honed the cylinders. New rings, opened up the ring gap. Grabbed a set of 2.02 J heads...

    FABO Gold Members selling products

So you are you trying to safeguard members by having sellers pay gold memberships? Sometimes you just can't fix poor buying. Frequent seller here (just to sell) had this new truck lock set for $22 plus shipping. He even marks his listing as "Liquidation Sale":rolleyes: And...

Overdrive Transmission for 630 HP motor

    My 70 Charger weighing 4000lbs pulled 12.30s with 3.55s and a 9:1 440 / mild roller / MP template ported 906s and headers. 3.23s and a 727 would work fine. And I imagine you have 28” + tires .

Did I really mess this up? Rough alignment issues (uneven tie rod length) after steering box and spindle replacement

First, Mopars are not "notorius" (sp) for bump steer. Compared to many other muscle cars they have less bump steer. For example, bump steer kits are everywhere for 60's and 70's Mustangs. You don't really see them for Mopars, Hotchkis is the only one that makes something that could be used that...

    Tf 727 modify or not

I guess if it's just for street use, as Murray said to just give it a quality rebuild, a shift kit and a rebuilt converter. A stock stall (appx. 1900 -2200 stall) 67-77 318 converter should work just fine for you. If its performance you're looking for, then that's an other thing. Your posting...

Overdrive Transmission for 630 HP motor

yes, and overdrive sooo... a 518 or 46RH with probably *checks notes* a JW ultrabell... and all the associated upgrades. i know that around here, 518's and 46RH's are hen's teeth. so once you've factored in the price to obtain a core and then the price of repair components, upgrades and a...

    What hose is this?

It’s not necessary, it allowed heat to be pulled from the manifold into the carb to help it warm up from a cold start / high idle.
