AMD only makes rear rails for A bodies. If they did make them they would be 67+ variety and wouldnt work for your 66. You will need to find a donor from an original car.

I just did this on my 66 valiant. It was a daunting task. I would definitely recommend having the shifter installed to place the hump correctly. Also shift the shifter in all gears before attaching the hump to the floor to check clearance. Don’t ask me how I know that I’m still mentally scarred...

You need to look into swapping out that trunk emblem, either with a 67 or see if you can do something with the 66 Barracuda rear emblem. Alan

these pictures are from the 66 dart, the 69 barracuda is the same. the transmission mount is way shorter, so before I order one, I will have to take it out of the 69 barracuda (its just easier to get to) put it in the 65 and see if the cross member goes in with no problems

yes, it appears to be a tight fit and I too wouldn't weld, or in my case, I'm going to do what Neil did, bolt it in, but still want it centered perfectly;)
