Edelbrock LD340 Intake Manifold Usable Max RPM?

The runner length decides the rpm its tuned for but doesn't mean it won't rev/make power passed the tuned rpm range it just loses ram effect but there is higher rpm bands that get a lesser secondary ram effect. Darin Morgan was talking about tuning the headers above intake tuning to extend the...

Tony's parts acquired by Vans Auto.

Van's used to be an old car junkyard. I picked that place many times buying every early Hemi engine that was easy to get to plus quite a bit of Ford 351C parts. Now that I have a Coronet I have purchased a few things for that project. I also really like the guys at MegaParts...both are kinda...

Interesting thoughts and observations on OD transmissions

Mopars transmission programs suck upto at least 03. My 03 ram does same thing . You have to floor it to get out of OD and then it drops to 2nd !

    @pittsburghracer gone.

RIP John! I always enjoyed his posts and the knowledge that he shared with all of us. This reminds us though that each of us only have so many trips around the sun, and we don't know how many that will be. Let's all try a little harder to be a better person........like John!

[WANTED] 1967-'76 dash speaker grille (requires dash murder)

I was hoping it would be something like that. Not big into sound, but I like stock appearing stuff that works better than stock. At some point the dash is coming out of my '73 to get a Rallye dash, interested to see what you come up with so I can decide if I want to go down a similar road...

    Looking for PCM options

I think I want to stick with the factory ECM By the time I buy a used ECM ($100) + sublime programing ($400), + sublime quick run harness ($900) = $1400 Mopar Hemi Crate kit with new wiring harness and ECM = $1447 Ends up being the same price. The 8HP will be separate no matter which ECM I...

    [WANTED] ISO rear seat-

yes... and a pair of darts... a dart rear will fit. or at least i *think* it would, or i can probably make it. and honestly, would be fine considering the rest of the build of the car is rough and tumble would kind of look about right!

[WANTED] 1967-'76 dash speaker grille (requires dash murder)

Sure! One can't get a decent forward soundstage in an A-body. I want left and right dash speakers, but hate the look of aftermarket grilles. My plan? To also murder my own Valiant dash and create Frankendash. The windshield has to come out and the dash pad needs replacing anyhow, so what...

How much weight can you shave off of an A-Body...and still have it look/drive like an A-Body?

I would skip the carbon fiber stuff. Not cost effective I think glass hood is bigger benefit than fenders. And glass fenders need headlight bezel and bucket fitting. Not sure an electric parking brake is lighter. A-body parking brake is pretty simple. The cable has some weight.

Classic Auto Air adapter mounting plate for factory A/C cars

I want to make sure I can find this thread when needed. I sure would like to see a detailed installment step by step. I think if someone would like a CAD drawing there is value for your hard work. Not a killing but a contribution to your car hobby. A $100 for the adapter and instructions would...

    Looking for PCM options

I should add that a factory PCM for 2015 and later has logic for a start signal over the CANBus that can't just be turned off. The Crate Motor tune that Sublime does makes the PCM the same as the one that Mopar sells with their swap kit, and removes this. No idea if Hotwire can do the same...
