Looks like the first picture has a number that's from the caliper bracket on a '73+ disk set up, the 10.95" version. Second picture looks like a 73+ single piston caliper.

    Which spacer is best?

Canton Racing has a wide variety of phenolic spacers including tapered 4-hole. I didn't make any comparisons, but the 1" phenolic tapered 4-hole was what I used on my 360 Dart Sport. Better insulating qualities than aluminum with the tapered bores, or whichever style you choose. As with most...

    TPPD 70 Duster.

I’m not cheap sir, just thrifty. Never been afraid to pay asking price for things I need, but also know it never hurts to make an offer below asking. I’ll keep an eye open for any ads you have

    TPPD 70 Duster.

The “new” 440 is the blue grease ball in the corner of the garage for the dart. It bolted up with no issues at all, actually it bolted together way smoother than the factory Muncie bracket came off.

Following the SKOSH chart - your experiences?

I used a tin snips. It only took a minute or two ........ Cutting the hole in my hood for fresh air took a lot longer.

    Looking for professional engine builder/machinist

The problem with builds like that, is they are extremely complicated with lots of little nuances to deal with. As a professional engine builder, I would personally not be interested in a build like that, I could literally build 3 or 4 street/strip conventional 408s in the same time frame, and...

1971 Duster Rallye Dash - Unidentified bezel

That is exactly it. That little stub is connected to the speedometer head and it's supposed to have a knob.

    Magnum 5.9 flex plate?

stock plate, you'll need to elongate a hole to get it to match the torque converter lugs and snake a bolt in there. however, if your torque converter is weighted you'll need the aftermarket plate which is neutral.

Yes, that's for an ODO/trip reset knob. It does turn once you have knob installed, that's how you reset it. Google it for an image. Repops are available.

    Compression Ratio and Boost Query

I'm planning 9.0:1 and 15PSI on an LA, but that's with computer-controlled distributorless ignition and MPFI. Timing and charge cooling are imperative, especially on gasoline. You can do this on a properly set-up blow-through, but you'll need computer control over the timing to really maximize...

Following the SKOSH chart - your experiences?

If the high speed stability is fine how it is now you don't really need more positive caster. With 215's up front it shouldn't really be necessary. It would add some more camber gain which would help handling, but it doesn't sound like that's a big concern. And of course it would add more...

    EPAS Electric Power Steering install

Ah, I had a feeling someone out there had probably already done at least a little work on it. Was going to look around and see what I can find for CAN messages, but looks like a lot of it is already there. Seems like those messages would be super easy to build in my current system, though I...

    Flexplate orientation/Transmission to engine mounting?

As 66fs mentioned, it was the change made from a '67 273 forged crank to a '68 cast one. The transmission made the same change internally that year....across the board to all 904's and 727's both small block and big block versions. The slant 6 engine also made the same crank register diameter...

Was just woken at 11:30 our mountain is burning and has gotten worse.

The east coast is a whole different deal with wildland firefighting. They just haven't had to do it historically in most places, and despite increasing numbers of fires they haven't upgraded their response or equipment. Looking at the local news posts on the fire it looks like the local fire...
