About an inch rear of the bumper...I've read that exiting under the car causes drone( before I installed the exhaust),so I knew that wasn't going to work for me. I didn't have the H pipe installed at first ,but installed it (after trying the 2nd set of mufflers)...still didn't help much. Dan

I have Overdrive...3.23 gears would drop my rpm's too low for my liking...as it is I'm only 2300 rpm @60 mph. I like the rpm...just not the drone. As far as turning up the stereo,it would have to be pretty loud(my wife wears ear plugs when we are in the drone range). Dan

My 340 Duster has the HP manifolds on Edelbrock Performer rpm heads...be careful!! My driver-side manifold cracked at the rear as it was pressing on the head. I had to grind some of the head to get the clearance needed.... Anyone have an extra left side manifold?

The seat is snapped in place properly...fits perfect except the frame isn't close enough to the floor.

Hello...I've tryed 2 rear seat bottoms in my 1970...neither one goes close enough to the floor. There must be a 2-3" gap from the floor to the bottom of the seat bracket....(could store things under there!). You can easily see the "catch" (on the floor)where the seat snaps into. Do duster rear...

Hi guys...the guy doing my upholstery says that my rear seat is not correct...that the front frame should be lower to the floor. The seat I have is about 5 1/2" from the floor(no carpet installed) to the seat frame. Is this correct?...(hope I explained it correctly). Dan

I need pics of the top, the bottom, front and the back. I could also use a pic of the front "retainer clips" using a tape measure to show the distance between them(if that makes sense). Thanks Dan...maybe someone has pics without you having to drag the seat out of the rafters. :-)

Hello...the upholsterer says that my seat is wrong and should not have the rear corners"cut-out".He says those cutouts are for newer seats with seatbelt retractors.He gave me a seat to try(suppose to be the proper one without the cutouts) but it won't fit...(the rear corners hit the wheelwells...
