    New(er) Dodge aka Ram trucks.

I have a 2017 Rebel, 5.7. It will push mid 20's on the highway if I drive responsibly(which I dont) but, it will average 18 ish. Coming from a 2010 with 4.7 and before that, 1999 to 2001 Rams, it sips fuel compared to those...lol

    Magnum Head Rocker Arms

My Magnum headed LA motor is pretty quiet. I believe some peoples issues might be too short of a pushrod causing the preload on the lifter to be too light. Just my 2 cents.

    Name brand 727 shop? “Fairbanks”

Doesn't seem that you can get a whole built trans from them anymore but, you can still buy parts from them. My buddy has one in his car although not painted like yours but has a sticker or plate on it with the name on it. It seems to work really well..it has a manual reverse valve body in it.

    Notchy steering on Charger

Check the right side inner tie rod and idler arm. I have had them rub on the headers/exhaust causing this notchy feeling, especially if you have grease zerks in them. I run mine without the zerks and just install them when I pump some grease in them.

    So how sad is this

It was general admission last time I was there around...2010. Saw Alice in Chains that night. About 4 songs into the show Jerry Cantrell stopped the concert and asked " Will somebody open the doors in here??? It's ******* hot!!!" It was early March and snowing sideways outside but felt like it...

    Just bought a smoke machine.

I have also seen the EGR tube that runs from the top plenum down to the bottom plenum, break causing similar issue. It's a corrugated "flexible" tube. This was on the 302 and 351, not sure if the 460 used the same design.

    Rim blow adapter Question:

The column itself changed in 1970 when they moved the key from the dash, into the column. That is why the column is a larger diameter in 1970 and up cars. I don't believe the rimblow was available until 1970.

    Loosing fuel pressure

Small blocks don't use a pushrod off the cam to pump the fuel pump. They have acentric on the snout of the cam. If it starts out with fuel pressure then loses it after running for a bit, I doubt it is that.

    Loosing fuel pressure

I have had this issue with both of my cars. My 71 Challenger it was the fuel filter causing it. What type of filter are you using? Mine was an Earls in line filter with changeable element. There are screens on both ends of those and they can get waded up under hard acceleration and stop the flow...

    The reason

As I'm driving to work this morning, with windows down a nice perfect breeze flowing through the car, I get a whiff of old interior, rain from last night and, a hint of exhaust, it takes me back to 1990 and skipping school just to go driving around in my 67 Satellite......that right there is why...
