No, I've noticed that when I set the choke for initial start it won't automatically open once it starts. I know the timing is still off a little, but the water pump is the wrong one so it is covering the timing marks

What looks likes leaves is the paint that got hot enough that it peeled up.

Any idea what caused this? When I can get it to start, that spot heats up instantly too hot to touch. The rest of the intake is cool to the touch.

It's after it has warmed up that it acts up. While it is cold it will scream the tires. It sat for about 3 months. I drained the fuel tank and put fresh gas in before I started it the first time. Also new fuel filter.

Got it running, sounds good, idles good.....then when I take it for a drive and start accelerating quickly it want to spatter and pop before taking off. Let it idle then and when I put it back in gear it tries to stall. Any ideas??
