I can get a set of heads for minimal $$ like 50 bucks...Porting and decking i can get away with but the valve job and seats is where id have to send somewhere....Prolly see if the guy thats boring the block can throw that into the mix too

lol agreed... I planned on .040 over...pistons, cam, headers, and some worked 360 heads. I have 8 1/4 with 3:73 ratio and rebuilt 904 with trans go shift kit

Ok thanks for the info guys...yea I wana try get as close to 400 as I can get..I had a 78 z28 that was mid 400s loved that car but of course was 355 with $6000 in work So i can do a simple build on the 318 get it up a bit...anything else I can add to list to get more...Thats other reason I had...

I was looking for the 727 because it was mentioned to me that it might not hold up to the 318 after i built it the way i was going to...The 727 came with the hi-po 360 thats only reason I was asking...and Yea i gunna go threw any motor I buy... I had never heard of a Hi-Po lol thats why I was...

Deal is its a 74 Hi-Po 360 with matching 727 tranny and comes with another full 360 motor...says the heads have Hi_po stamped on them...says it has big chamber heads and valves heavy rods and forged crank. Wants 500 but prolly get him down to 400

70aarcuda, Yea I was going to bore 318 .030 over...Have the 360 heads ported and chambers up to 60cc...flat top pistons... didn't have a cam, intake or carb picked yet...

Well it didn't take long...it all went together smoothly thanks again guys!!!...all I gotta do now is run new lines..ended up breaking them trying to take apart...I have already bought the 73 lines they will work?

but then the Lower balljoints don't line up with the tie-rods...its rear steer.

The spindles I have came off a 73 Dart and only alow for the front mount...I wish they mounted on the back I wouldn't have this issue lol
