    i have a dana 60 in my duster, didn't have to modify the tank. it fits, if you use one of those thick back covers, yes, a steel cover fits easily.

    find a dana 60 from a 67 to 72 ford 1/2 ton pickup, its the lightest, diff in wgt is 35 lbs, it has passenger car ends , weld case to tubes with stainless rod, mine has been in my car since 1992, it has bout 3000 runs on it. just food for thought

    our gk stocker cam is at .006 cold, makes it .004 hot, seems to work ok, no problems, had a comp stkr cam called for .006 lash on intakes, zero lash on exh, int was a solid lobe exh was hyd lobe. just food for thought

    you can weld the rack with cast welding rod, muggy rod is the best one to use, its made in wash state. they have a web site. far better than brazing.

    A-833 2.47 1st gear change to 3.09

    when you change ratios, you change everything, 1 st ,2nd , 3rd gears, cluster, input shaft, you don't change reverse gear. some gears show same tooth count, but are different dia, won't fit. you can't mix and match gears, all are specific to each ratio set.

    on our stockers , we run zero lash with hyd lifters, also run anti pump up style, our engines will run to 7500 rpm, cam is 262 .265 duration at .050. lobes are very aggressive . just food for thought, btw , springs are 140 seat and 360 open
