    Heater Control

I assume that you are dealing with a change from 72 to 73. Dash and bezel obviously don't match. You have a 73+ dash and your bezel is 72 and down. Heater box assemblies are different as well starting in 1973.

[FOR SALE] Lifetime Collection of Automotive Magazines

Thanks, I certainly knew that when I posted. I'm definitely not going to go thru that many mags to identify title, month and year just not worth my time to do it. I will reduce my price to $400. If not sold at this price I will endeavor to find an appropriate person/place to donate them.

    Barracuda fastback cargo area trim

I have a 1968 Barracuda fastback and I believe I am missing a piece of trim. The piece in question is inside the vehicle, between the cargo area and trunk and runs left to right near the underside of the back glass. Is there supposed to be something here? Does anyone have a picture of the...

Vintage Direct Connection parts. Let’s see em!

I purchased this Direct Connection jacket in 1978 using the mail-in order form in the 1978 Direct Connection catalog. The jackets were made by and ordered from Horizon Sportswear. It had the Direct -><- Connection patch, but I added the others. It's fairly well worn. I got this Direct...

65 Barracuda Formula S Tachometer Wiring?

I'm sure I have a stock used one. It worked when I pulled it, but, it's been sitting on a shelf for many years, so, no guaranty it still works. I don't currently have anything running to test it. If you're going to do the electronic upgrade like what you posted, it probably wouldn't matter.

    Randal...

Besides the many phone calls, I met with him several times. At the Rockford swap meet, our own swap meets LOL, at the dragway a couple times, he's been to my house. We did many deals, in which at this very point neither one of us owe the other any parts or cash. What many here may not know...

65 Barracuda Formula S Tachometer Wiring?

Hello all, I just picked up a 65 Formula S tachometer. How do these things work? Do they need an external triggering device, or does the negative side of the coil hook directly up to the tach for input? I see that there are electronic upgrades for the tach 63- 66 Tach Sender Upgrade Board...

Pipe dope on my temperature sending unit. Is this okay?

The dash "scale" operating range is the same for fuel, temperature and oil pressure. All 10 ohms full scale and 74 at "empty". A cold static engine temperature sender, at about 68*F room temperature, will read in the 300 to 360 ohm range and you'll know it's good.

what is the most Desirable A body line

As far as my choice I'm partial to Dusters because my son has had two that I have also spent many hours wrenching on but the Demon is definitely the rarest with the shortest production run AND a great looking car, so either one.
