toolman mike, Your VIN and Fender Tag should tell if your car was sold new in California. Do not know the difference between the 49 State and CAP Intake other than the casting. The firewall makes me think you have an early 1966 Dart.

I have lived north of the Quad Cities and near St. Olaf, IA. Lived most of my life in SW WI. Lost my wife to Cancer in 2007, moved to SE MN in 2012. Hope they find a cure for Cancer, I know it set my life back a few years.
