Have you tried slotting the spool area on the Kmember yet?

I eliminated MDS and I’m using a cam phaser lock out. MDS isn’t really necessary unless you are trying to save fuel. If you run any cam with high lift or long duration then yes, you will need to run a cam phaser lock out or limiter. Lots of cam choices out there.

Hahaha, that wasn’t my intent but if it’s a sealed unit you should be fine.

If you plan to drive in weather at all having that module there at the fresh air vent hole could see water intrusion. I have that same block off style there and it drips in light dew or when I wash it.

Looking at pics, dipstick is going to be tight if you are going with the Holley or truck. Looks like no room between inner fender and exhaust tube.

Looks like Holley amended their instructions about the Borg box and a specific line kit is necessary. Does look from there instructions that low mounted a/c compressor will fit. Only thread I could find was with TTi headers and mounts with compressor location

I think others here have had issue with Borg box and the swap headers. Let me see if I can find the thread here.

The Holley mounts move the engine forward but for HC swap I think some massaging of wiper motor area is necessary regardless of water manifold. It’s tight behind there

What mounts and Kmember are you using? Power or manual steering?

Yeah I totally understand about the lifter situation. I’m learning a lot as I go but lots of options and opinions about lifters. Watching u-tube after u-tube videos of what causes failures and what lasts longer. I just decided to run some and find out. I will report back. I’m using this engine...
