I even read the pressure hose closer to engine and my brain was duh lol. Yep remove the shims more pressure. Bergman suggests leaving one in there. I’ve got both shims now but not quite ready to test drive yet.

I installed a borgeson box 14:1 on my 67 Belvedere I re-used my Saginaw pump. I took out the 2 shims as per a write up I read in the power steering pump. I have an aftermarket be cool radiator In my b body. Top drivers into my small block. I took a hanger and bent in shape of the hose. Took it to my buddy at Napa and he looked in the book. My hose is for a 1979 Firebird 350 non ac.

Does the aftermarket radiator have the top and bottom hose coming out the stock locations?
