My pirate jack disk brake conversion on my 66 barracuda has a damaged dust boot on the caliper. Can I replace the dust boot without removing the caliper from the car and disassembling it?

FWIW I just broke one in with a solid fan on it. It barely got above thermostat temperature. You might not get airflow like that with a clutched fan and the car not going down the road.

Yeah, at some point in your Dart's life someone slapped a Barracuda/Valiant bumper and brackets on it. You'll need the Dart bumper brackets ('66 only) to mount the correct bumper on it. '66 Barracuda/Valiant:

That setup is not correct for a '66 Barracuda, but, it gives you an idea on what is needed.

I bought an adjustable pinion snubber for my 66 Barracuda. It's going on the 8.75 rear I have in it with 3-91 gears. Should I weld in a steel plate to renforce the body and should I put the snubber right up against the body or give it a little space

Thanks Mark, yeah I didn't even realize there was a "rocket" version, I've only ever seen fratzog and valiant styles. I had a member offer me a trade which was tempting. He has the rocket that I want but its not quite as nice cosmetically, altho mine is missing the 1 "rivet".

absolutely yes. It did on my 73 Duster and on my 75 Dart sport. I miss that distinctive sound, but every start is easier.

Installed a Hellwig front sway bar on my 66 Barracuda. Pretty straight forward install. It tucks up nice and close. End links are angled a little more than I like, but is needed to clear the strut bars.

Try it both ways and see what you like. I’m sure it looks right to you one or the other. On my 66’ Barracuda the wider part is down. It the way it was since I bought the car in 1989.

I had the tti long tube headers on my 66 Barracuda. This spring I removed and replaced them with Sanderson DD9’s. The TTI headers provided no room for anything, I got tired of dealing with them.
