I have a 62 Chrysler pushbutton assembly . I was told it had a light housing under the knobs that took a common dash light bulb which kind of lit them up with the translucent part of the knobs acting like a rudimentary finer optic. Unfortunately, I don’t have the light housing.

Hot Heads is your Go To for info and parts for the early Hemi. Bob Walker runs it and is a great guy and knows his stuff. I might be mistaken but there might be an adapter to run a later LA 727 with the early Hemi. I’d keep the Hemi for sure!

Does the year (65, 66 or 67) matter

Welcome aboard! Instead of the mechanical rod(s) for the kickdown, Lokar and Bouchillon (sp) make a cable setup for the kickdown based on early Dakota cable setups

I have an 8.75 with disc brakes in my Dart and used the smallest Addco rear sway bar. Other than drilling the mounting holes in each side for the special mounting bolts, it went in pretty easy. As s side note I had a factory 76 A Body cop car rear sway bar and it was a no go eith the discs

Laysons has lower quarter panel repair patches and lower fender repair panels. I used both on my Dart wagon with very good results. I used Auto Biody Specialties floor panels as well and they fit quite nicely with minor trimming

No but I can take some later today after I get back from the Dr. i can get close ups of the sway bar mounts to the K as the K and LCAs are loosely mounted sitting on my roll around frame waiting for me to get off my butt and assemble the motor and mount it to the K

I got the 1.25 or maybe it’s 1.5 Heleig hollow sway bar bolted to my early A K and stock LCAs with stock location sway bar tabs. Other than drilling another mounting hole on each side, the Helwig was a piece of cake to install.

If it’s a truck transmission it probably won’t have the boss to accept the bracket for the down rod for a floor shift trans, it that’s what’s in your Barracuda
