In very general terms, my experience wrt performance oriented American v8’s is……… the lower the head flow numbers are, the easier it is to exceed the typical flow based “predictions”(limitations).
300cfm heads on a 9:1 318……..not easy to make 600+hp.
However, 300hp from 150cfm heads on the same...
For the KH System;
You need everything between the control arms; but you get the 4" boltpattern on the discs, which, I have found to be more than adequate for street duty. At conversion time, I highly recommend to change over your braking system to a dual-system. It's not that hard, not...
A little bit of everything. Have over 100 NOS Mopar small parts. Also 100s of aftermarket parts. Seals, bearings, etc. You can PM me a part # or description and I can check to see if I have it. I can also provide pics of parts. In this bin;
3614321- valve tappet assy. $15
670752- oil seal...
I'd pull the plugs, check that particular plug.
If it's soaking wet (gas), could be bad plug, more likely wire, cracked/carbon tracked cap maybe.
If it's dry, or oil soaked, rockers/pushrods would be my next stop.
Compression test.
Good luck

I have for sale a very trick SB 727 transmission. It’s a full race 727 with very few runs on it. Probably around 20 runs. Pro-Formance Transmissions in Delaware did the freshening in 2017. This trans has the 904 internals in it but uses the 727 case so less reciprocating weight. This trans also...
It fit like it should with the OEM flex and converter. "Direct replacement dust cover plate, suits small block linkage operated 904 transmissions. Precision cut from zinc anneal plate."
I have a 79 Red Express that needs a new hood (rust along leading edge).
Being new to this model/brand I am getting conflicting answers. I have been told only 79/80 will fit the 79. The hood I currently have, that IS original to the truck, is not the b.b. but the flat hood. From what I know 72...
Rusty, as promised (but took a while sorry) here are measurements of the air to air I have that I’ll donate to your turbo deal if you’ll use it. Just pay shipping. It’s small, will support about 300hp, and will definitely help.
I believe I forgotten to post here on the update. But Ill keep it short! I got the front chassis off a wrecked truck and I can start making a Jig for making control arms to work with those Mustang 2 drop spindles. I have to use Wilwood pro spindles unless I find another MII spindle with a bolt...
Right?
And yeah I’m with @413 on this one, take the bearing out of the bag and read the number on it, lots faster than listening to a bunch of wild *** guesses on the internet
