I need the correct front cover plate for a small block 904 transmission.
I already have the correct one for a 727 (in the photo) but still need the correct one for the 904 with the slightly shorter inspection opening at the bottom.

I do not know what the travel passage is?
I may have made things confusing (at least I am now unclear) because I have two separate builds in my garage or in my head; 360/727 and 318/904.
If the above plate is for a SB/727 and I know the inspection cover on the left fits that plate, will this cover plate and the inspection cover on the left have rubbing issues on the 360/727 build?
I know the inspection cover on the right is too small for that plate, but assume it will fit the plate meant for a 904. No?.

It fit like it should with the OEM flex and converter. "Direct replacement dust cover plate, suits small block linkage operated 904 transmissions. Precision cut from zinc anneal plate."
